I wanted to create a scenery you could wander into. The main goal was to make the eye follow the bridges into the distance. It's always as challenging to paint the sense of scale into a painting. I like to create places that I can feel relaxed in and I hope some of you feel the same way. Remember not to rush trough all the paintings with a terrifying clicking speed
That's a really nice picture. I've draw a graffiti version of it on a paper, but it didn't turn out so well. Nelli showed me this, and you might know her, since she knows you.
That's a great program. The software isn't at all important. I use artrage and other FREE software all the time. I really suggest artrage to anyone even if you could afford the latest high end image editing software out there. In truth you only need a brush to paint and most current day software have so many features that aren't really needed for painting at all. I painted this in photoshop, but used mainly only one brush like I usually do. Image editing capabilities of photoshop were only good for adding texture which would look much better hand painted anyway. I painted my previous image called "Silence" mostly in painter with the same basic brush that's available also in painter essentials.
Btw I know I'll sound like a commercial but the full version of art rage 2 costs nearly nothing compared to painter. The free version of it is very solid piece of software.
do you mind if I make it part of my oblivion mod?
I will send you a screenshot ones its done.
I really love the colors on this one. I have such a hard time doing backgrounds like this. Do you have any quick advice?

What brush did you use in this? The digital airbrush?
