I've wanted to design a retro poster for so long it's crazy. After seeing some cool clothing ads from 1900-1950 I decided to actually do something about it.
I honestly thought the whole thing would be a lot easier but at the same time I'm glad that I learned a lot from the process. I had a very clear vision what kind of gothic font the poster should have. In the end that's actually 3 fonts and 3 vector letters that form the words "Polka Dots" since none of the free fonts were exactly what I was looking for.
I wanted the dress to be fun but not funny and retro instead of old.
I love the old fashion ads where human form is there just to show the product unlike nowdays where it's all about the underweight celebrity models.
Woah! nice!! what a wonderful job my friend! indeed different from what I'd seen you lately retro it may be and I would say with a vintage look! very nice, you have a lot of creativity, plase let it happen

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
