I felt like I haven't drawn bees in ages so here we go.
I thought what they would look like in a cover of an American comic book. (what would they DO in one? I wonder...)

I painted the lines with a sumi-e brush and tried flatter colors in ps because I wanted to keep the texture of the brush strokes on paper.

This is great! I love how you managed the lighting here, it mixes so well with the sumi-e strokes

You did a great job mixing various elements and two completely different styles here. Those kinds of styles are almost opposite to eachother so this is a great attestment to your skill! Also, loving the lighting!
