Espresso yourself

Painted with coffee and ink.

During the last "vacation" at school I had one week time to paint my own things. This was the first time we got to choose anything we want. I was so excited that I literally wanted to do everything. So during the day I painted with oils while the light was right for it and at noon I did some ink drawing that doesn't need daylight and at nights I switched to digital while I worked obsessively on [link]

I drank huge amounts of coffee to keep me going through the nights and during the last few days I was just a walking zombie.

Then I painted this huge painting with coffee. It's 1:1 scale with my own body where I'm sitting with my addictions. The sumi-e brush in my one hand and the coffee cup in my left hand. (also the tools I used for this very image coffee and ink)

Though I was very tired I'm also very happy that I got to do my own thing. I go to hyper productive mode when I'm free to experiment new things.
